ICT Group presents Physical Twin, Digital Twin and HoloLens innovations at InfraTech trade fair

The InfraTech trade fair in Ahoy from 17 to 20 January 2023 was a great success for ICT Group. Among other things, we presented our Physical Twin solution in combination with our mixed reality solution HoloNXT to visitors.

Physical Twin in combination with mixed reality
The Physical Twin is a 'replica' on scale model of the real object. By adding a scale model, the entire behaviour of an object becomes visible. This makes it interesting for clients, operators and other users to gain knowledge of the system and its behaviour without burdening the real object. This also saves energy, there is no wear and tear on moving parts and faults can be fixed before the object is put into operation.
But it does not stop with the Physical Twin alone; by using the Digital Twin and HoloLens, it is possible to visualise a control room, for example. This allows us to test the software before the object is built, which increases quality and reduces development time. At the touch of a button, you can open a bridge, for example, in a 3D experience.
