An increasing number of vehicle functions
We are active in the area of vehicle control units that govern the operation of advanced pixel headlights, cockpit and instrument clusters, climate controls, electronic immobilizers and sunroofs, for example.
The increasing number of functions available in today’s vehicles is leading to a more complex electronic architecture and to an increasing number of involved electronic control units (ECU’s). To ensure smooth, safe and correct communication between all ECU’s it is necessary to have one master unit to coordinate the data transfer within the vehicle network system. The “Gateway” is the central electronic control module for vehicle data network management. A core field of our work is in the area of gateways with the Connected Gateway as basis for e.g. telematics based integrations of the vehicle to roadside infrastructure.
