Virtual commissioning demo
Control software needs to be tested against the actual interface with the installations as early as possible. That connection is only available once the control system has been physically connected. That’s why we use a simulation system in our projects. It makes the control software behave as if the real installation were present, without changing the programme itself.
This also allows you to test exceptional situations without damaging the installation or putting it under unnecessary strain. It saves energy, reduces wear and tear, and saves time. Once the software has been successfully tested on the simulator, we release it for the production environment.
Presentation: Testing before implementation
How can you demonstrate that a bridge, lock or tunnel is functioning correctly before it enters service? As part of the Digitalisation theme, Mario Bastiaansen from ICT Group will present on verification and validation (V&V) in a virtual environment. He will show how we use Systems Engineering, V&V and Virtual Testing to test software early, reduce risks and speed up commissioning.
