The UITP Summit (previously known as the UITP Global Public Transport Summit) is the definitive public transport event for the sector, welcoming over 10,000 public transport professionals ranging from operators, authorities, industry suppliers, and policy makers from across the world.

Now that traffic flows are becoming increasingly dynamic and the demand for (rail) capacity is increasing, we are looking for the outcome in digital and sustainable solutions that are based on available mobility and infrastructure for everyone.

Thanks to our specialist domain knowledge in mobility and experience with data-driven, business-critical systems, we supply and manage the products over their entire lifecycle, no matter how complex they may be. We take responsibility and solve problems on behalf of our customer. Together with customers and partners, we are innovating mobility into an integrated system that is ready for the new world of travel. Continuity, safety, and sustainability are central to this.

Ariadne

Martijn van Aartrijk will present the innovative solution Ariadne – the thread that guides your passengers during disruptions. The presentation takes place on Tuesday 17 June from 13:30 to 14:30 in Expo Session B (Hall A4) during the UITP Summit 2025.

Ariadne is designed to provide targeted, individual information to passengers during severe disruptions—without relying on their knowledge of the network. The solution offers context-specific and adaptive advice that responds to the evolving situation. In doing so, it not only better supports passengers but also strengthens trust and loyalty toward public transport.

Multimodal Analytics

On Wednesday 18 June from 11:00 to 12:00 in Expo Session B (Hall A4) during the UITP Summit 2025, Tessa Matser will present Multimodal Analytics – A data-driven approach to urban mobility policy.

ICT Group’s Multimodal Analytics provides a powerful tool for data-driven and evidence-based decision making in sustainable urban mobility. By integrating data from a wide range of sources, the solution enables policymakers to make targeted decisions and quickly adapt based on real-time insights. The Municipality of Utrecht uses Multimodal Analytics to evaluate projects such as bicycle encouragement programs, road works planning, emission monitoring, and traffic safety improvements.

Demos

At our stand, we present several demos and solutions, one of these is Ariadne.

Ariadne

Ariadne is a solution for passenger information officers that improves the management of public transport disruptions. Ariadne simplifies communication to different passenger target groups during disruptions, provides effective decision support and streamlines the lifecycle of a disruption. Ariadne provides calm and control in a high-pressure environment. Focusing on user experience through our UX design approach, we ensure that Ariadne integrates with the goals of traveller informants and their work process. Using European standards such as Transmodel, NeTEx, SIRI and ITXPT, we confidently tackle transport challenges.

Visit us at the stand and watch the demo where we will be happy to show you how this can help you take travel information during disruptions to the next level.
