Throughout the last 1,5 years the InMotion team has been working on the implementation of the Next Generation Battery Pack (NGBP) in the Revolution racecar. They have shown its charging capabilities before, but the discharging potential was still a future topic.

At the end of 2024 they started working on this by testing the Revolution on a Dyno! By testing and showcasing the Revolution being powered by the NGBP on a Dyno, they have shown the ability of the self-developed battery pack to discharge and power the electric motors in an ‘on-track’ setting.

A new video was presented at the InMotion Partner event to highlight the different steps throughout the process of reaching this important milestone.

Years of cooperation

ICT Group and InMotion have been working together since 2015, specifically the Motar team of ICT Electronics. Motar is ICT Group's platform for model-based software development for vehicles. With the platform, people with and without programming knowledge can work (together) graphically on a functional model in the familiar MATLAB/Simulink environment.
