STAN and SafeTag in Practice

Together with STAN Safety Platform, we showcased the digital safety platform STAN and its accompanying SafeTag. STAN significantly enhances safety in work zones through real-time location tracking, geofencing, and smart wearable technology. Using the SafeTag, organisations have continuous visibility of the location of employees and vehicles. In hazardous situations, instant alerts are issued, helping to reduce risks and create demonstrably safer working environments.

The fact that the Minister and the accompanying delegation took the time to see this solution in action highlights just how relevant and important workplace safety has become in temporary road and rail work zones. It is also a strong endorsement of the growing recognition that intelligent safety solutions are becoming an integral part of the new industry standard.

Autonomous Robot Platforms: The Future Is Already Here

Together with Avular, we also demonstrated our autonomous robot platform. One of the key takeaways from the discussions was that this technology is already ready for deployment today, without the need for additional legislation or regulatory changes.

Autonomous mobile robots offer significant advantages for inspection, surveillance, and monitoring tasks. They collect accurate, consistent data in all weather conditions, providing organisations with the reliable information they need. Tasks that are currently carried out manually can therefore be performed more safely, efficiently, and consistently. The captured imagery and measurement data are processed within our own data analytics platforms or integrated into customers' existing systems, ensuring that valuable insights are immediately available to support decision-making and operational optimisation.

Building a Safer Future Together

The visit by the ministerial delegation confirms that innovation in safety and mobility remains high on the agenda. Together with our partners, we are committed to raising the standard of workplace safety and helping to build a smarter, safer mobility sector for the future.
