Keeping existing equipment suitable for ETCS

Making existing vehicles suitable for ETCS (European Train Control System) often means high replacement costs, long decommissioning and complex recertification. Moreover, for small series and special vehicles — such as maintenance and inspection vehicles, shunting locomotives and work equipment — a generic, one-size-fits-all ETCS solution is often insufficient. EVC-C has been specially developed to solve this issue.

EVC-C is a compact ETCS on-board solution for retrofit projects in small series and special rail vehicles. Instead of a generic approach, EVC-C offers exactly the functionality needed for the intended use and the national context.
