MES linked to a digital twin
The Aspentech MES digital twin demo setup consists of a digital twin simulation of a logistics process. The digital twin is linked to a standard MES application that provides control. For example, MES takes care of receiving and processing the orders. Data from the simulation is stored in the MES database and is then visualized.
