ICT Group’s Limburg Water Level app nominated for Award

Channelweb has announced the nominees of the Channel Awards 2016 in the category ‘Best Channel Project of the Year’. The nominees were chosen by a total of 21 jury members specialized in projects, project management and chain collaboration in projects. The winners will be announced during a spectacular award show on 7 December 2016.

Limburg-based water boards, ICT Group and Smartportal (Limburg Water Level app)

“The Limburg Water Level app has allowed citizens of Limburg to check the actual water levels in their area since February 2016. ICT Group developed the app using Smartportal – a smart, cloud-based solution – in combination with the current IT landscape and standard processes, data and tools. Citizens are informed promptly by e-mail or push message in cases of possible flooding, and social media allow them to track the measures taken by the water boards. Smartportal converges multiple, existing IT solutions of a company into a single, integrated, cloud-based application.”
