New managing director ICT TriOpSys

In February 2024, ICT Group strengthened its position in the public and mobility sector with the acquisition of TriOpSys (now ICT TriOpSys). At the time, shareholders Rob Timman and At Hijwegen declared their willingness to stay on for another year after the takeover. Given the fact that the end of this period is approaching, we have been looking for a new managing director for ICT TriOpSys. We are now pleased to announce that Marcel van Oirschot will join ICT TriOpSys on 1 December, after which he will take up the position of managing director on 1 January.

Marcel van Oirschot worked for many years in the industrial domain at Siemens in the Benelux, after which he made the switch to the cybersecurity sector. For the past ten years, he has worked in the beating heart of cybersecurity in the Netherlands holding senior positions at Fox-IT, KPN Security and Hunt & Hackett. In addition, he has been a board member of Cyberveilig Nederland and the platform for cyber security: dcypher. Marcel has a lot of affinity with the work that ICT TriOpSys does and has supervised various strategic projects in his career. It is important to him that the people in the organization are looked at carefully. An approach that fits exactly with the culture of both ICT Group and ICT TriOpSys.

We would like to thank Rob and At for the way in which they have worked hard to establish the cooperation between ICT TriOpSys and the various parts of ICT Group in a pleasant and fluent way. We wish them the best of luck with all the great plans they have for the future.
