Presentation ICT Group at E-Mobility seminar E&A fair
About model-based software development for the InMotion racecar
- 4 September 2023
E-Mobility seminar
Electrification of vehicles is experiencing tremendous growth. Electronics (hardware and software) plays an essential role in this. Developments and improvements follow each other in rapid succession.
In this seminar, the speakers will address the question: What are the current challenges in the e-mobility market and how can we solve/improve them through hardware and software developments?
The thread of this seminar is the race car of the InMotion team, partner of ICT Group for years. After the opening presentation, the speakers will each focus on a component or test challenge in the car. The race car can also be admired 'live' on the exhibition floor (stand number 7F008)! Presentation Johan van Uden - Motar
At Tuesday 26 September at 16.15 hour, Johan van Uden, Business Development Manager ICT Group, will give a presentation about the topic:
Model based software development for an electric endurance racecar
“How does one develop automotive production class software, reliable enough to control an electric racecar that should endure a 24-hour race, under the toughest conditions imaginable for electronics? Vibrations, dust, G-forces, and extreme temperatures are some examples that test the electronics of a racecar to the fullest. In case of any failure, faulty sensor or signals being exposed to electromagnetic fields the software should still be able to control the vehicle safely. For the development, simulation, and testing of all its vehicle functions, InMotion uses Matlab/Simulink models that are automatically translated to embedded software.”
