The water domain is facing challenges in the area of water quality and shortage, affordability, sustainability, digitalisation, cyber security, chain cooperation, and staff shortage. To tackle these challenges, ICT Group will support you with advanced technology for smart water management.

Proven IT solutions for the digital transformation

More and more often, sewer pumps, pumping stations, dams, sluices, and bridges are being operated automatically, which makes it possible to collect big data. Analysing these data provides insight in the opportunities to save energy and make maintenance predictable and more efficient. By integrating weather forecasts in the data architecture, digitalisation can also make an important contribution to a climate-proof water system. However, the water industry is still somewhat reserved and regards digitalisation as complicated and costly. ICT Group have now carried out many projects with data intelligence. These proven solutions can be applied directly to the water industry as well. This will enable you to further optimise your manufacturing processes, save costs, reduce risks, improve water quality, and offer new or improved services.

We provide all necessary expertise for this: Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data and data intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) with our HoloNXT solution. With Digital Twins, we simulate and test new solutions, placing a digital copy alongside the reality to visualise processes and measure and predict behaviour. ICT Group have been taking care of water infrastructure automation in the Netherlands for many years. With our Water 4.0 solutions, you can confidently take the next step towards water management in a digital water infrastructure.

What we offer

Over 40 years of experience in water have gained us a profound domain knowledge. Water 4.0 is an umbrella term for powerful IT solutions for sustainable automation of processes that regulate the quality and quantity of water.

Remote monitoring

From a central control room, we monitor if pumps, works of art, dams, and pumping stations work properly and according to their design. In case of defects, the client will know exactly what is wrong and where action is required.

Device management

Through internet, we configure and update device software remotely. We also collect operational information about the devices, such as operating hours, vibration frequency, and temperature to form an image of the device's condition.

Preventive maintenance and asset management

We help with the implementation of preventive maintenance. Service engineers step in when the monitoring system indicates that certain equipment is about to break. This reduces the number of incidents and damage, increases safety, and maximises the object's life.

Lower energy consumption

Through a Smart Energy Platform, we monitor the energy consumption of devices. The platform provides insight in the use of specific installations and works of art. Smart use of these installations reduces energy costs and CO2 emission.
