Improve shop replenishment with a sophisticated ordering and delivery schedule. Increase flexibility by making occasional or structural changes. By presenting the delivery schedule clearly and conveniently, all shops and distribution centres know when they can expect their goods.

Automatic calculation of all times

The supply chain platform provides all the functionality needed to plan ordering and delivery times. To do so, it calculates the time required for each shop to collect the goods, load the truck and execute the trip. The platform then generates a schedule for all shops that takes into account all relevant information, including the desired delivery times and available transport capacity.

The result is a clear diagram that uses colour to show all order times, picking times, loading times, journey times and delivery times. This enables shops and distribution centres to plan their own operations in detail.

Easy implementation of changes

The order and delivery plan is anything but a static schedule. The platform allows for occasional or structural changes. For occasional changes, think of holidays, local events or holiday periods. An example of a structural change is an expansion of the number of shops.

Changes can be entered per country (Spain), per region (Catalonia), per subset (cities celebrating carnival), per distribution centre, per shop or per transit country (think of driving bans in Germany for trucks on Sundays and public holidays). Once the changes have been entered, a recalculation of all order times, collection times, loading times, journey times and delivery times takes place automatically.
