Control tower for outgoing transport
Automatic selection of carriers
The decision regarding which carrier is most suitable depends on several factors such as cost, destination, goods or available equipment. This information, in combination with predefined decision rules, allows the supply chain platform to select the most suitable carrier for each transport. Once the transport order is forwarded to this carrier, a loading appointment is scheduled at the distribution centre.
The driver app enables flawless transport execution by supporting e-CMR. This makes all transport documents including waybills digitally available to the driver. Subsequently he can handle the goods transfer digitally at the destination. If the driver notices any defects or other deficiencies in the process, he also reports them via the driver app. This ensures that the office always stays informed.

Informing customers and recipients
Naturally, the receiving party wants to know when the transport will arrive and what it contains. Once the transport is scheduled, the platform automatically sends a message that states the contents of the transport and the scheduled delivery time to each delivery address.
Is the driver delayed en route? As the driver app constantly shares current GPS coordinates, the platform is able to closely monitor progress. If the scheduled delivery time is not met, the platform automatically calculates the new arrival time. Of course, you can automatically notify customers and recipients of the changes.
